The operational headquarters of the Ivan Cankar strike brigade and the Croatian Rade Končar 13th proletarian brigade issue an order to destroy the White Guard outpost in the village of Suhor.
Historical background:
November 23rd 1942
The village of Suhor hosted the headquarters of the 3rd battalion of the Legion of Death, it’s 3rd company and a platoon of the Italian 3rd battalion 23rd regiment, 162 soldiers in all. According to the partisan reports 99 legionaries were captured: 17 of them were sent home, most of them were recruited into the Matija Gubec and Ivan Cankar brigades while 8 collaborators and officers were shot.
