The Kotlič battle
Baptism of fire for the Cankar battalion on the Jelovica plateau.
400 German soldiers took part in this battle. The Partisan unit of 60 fighters repelled their attack and blocked them for two hours. Three Partisans fell, Germans suffered 30 casualties and had a few wounded.
