Attacking: the occupying forces
The German army secured the bridgehead over the Kolpa river and is crossing it with their motorized forces. This act allows it to perform offensive actions in the Dolenjska and Notranjska regions. Delay the advancement of enemy troops just enough so the Partisan hospital and other liberation movement institutions can escape to more remote areas.
