The Partisans attack first.
Surprise the greater part of the 4th Home Guard Battalion in the village of Veliko Lipje with the 9th Partisan Brigade and the 18th Division’s Strike Battalion.

The enemy lost 65 soldiers, 70 were wounded, 4 were captured and a lot of supplies were seized from them.
