Historical background:
October 25th 1943
A German assault unit unexpectedly attacks the campsite of the 2nd Partisan battalion at Lipa while they were away and assaults the headquarters of the Tržaška division. 14 Partisan fighters perish in the heavy fighting, among them the division commander Robert Borštnar – Rade. Avenge your fallen comrades and attack the German convoy returning from the battle as a fighter of the 1st battalion of the Kosovelova brigade.
Darko Marušič – Blaž, a captured political commissar, seized the opportunity during the attack and managed to escape from the Germans with his hands tied.
