The Partisans attack first.
April 11th 1944
The reinforced German Heine battalion, aided by artillery support, is attacking the core group of the 31st Partisan division. Some of its units were decimated during the battles that lasted the whole day. A sudden arrival of the 18th brigade to the battlefield changed the situation in favor of the Partisans. Lead the Bazoviška brigade into a counterattack and force the attackers to withdraw back to Idrija.
