The 1st Istrski Partisan Battalion suffers a huge defeat in Stara Sušica, southwest of Pivka. Break free from the encirclement!
March 12th 1944
About 250 enemy soldiers from Sežana and Pivka have surrounded the battalion in the village. 16 fighters were killed, 10 were wounded and 26 were captured.
