Partisans attack first!
The Koroški platoon of the 2nd Gorenjski battalion and the 3rd company of the same unit enter Bistrica v Rožu, liberate the town, destroy a car battery factory and a hydro plant and set a big sawmill on fire.
Historical background:
May 18th 1943
They also liberated 41 Russian POWs from the nearby camp who were forced to work in awful conditions in the car battery factory.
