The Partisans attack first.
The 9th Corps HQs issues orders to attack the enemy outpost in Trnovo, garrisoned with 250 soldiers of the Fulmine Fascist Battalion. Join the Kosovelova Brigade, armed with three cannons, two 47mm anti-tank cannons and two 20mm rapid-fire cannons, and fulfill your orders.
January 19th 1945
The enemy garrison was saved from certain destruction by the 3rd Battalion of the 10th SS Police Regiment that surprised the Simon Gregorčič Brigade, saved the remaining garrison and withdrew with them to Gorica. The Partisans seized the remaining weapons and equipment. The enemy lost 204 soldiers and 7 were wounded while their reinforcements also lost 120 soldiers.
